Wonderful lyrics with excellent melodies. Clear vocals with good expression.

Especially interesting are the lyrics which deliver the intended messages in almost poetic style and are obviously carefully considered. The vocals, especially Potts's, are clear and readily understood, an element crucial for folk songs that are stories set to music. The instrumental background is nicely put together with the guitar and piano especially well done. All in all, a really nice sampling of good folk music.

Impossible to over play-Breathtakingly insightful and real. Variety of lyrics an

This particular CD capture's in lyric ands song, what most people experience in a lifetime. It elicits emotions and inspiration as if it has a familiar smell, like Grandmom's cookies, or a lover's perfume.. While the songs create vivid stories, they still provide a platform for each individual to imagine their own personal details and color. I appreciate the humor and introspection that many of the lyrics express. The acknowledgement of failing body parts and the sense of gratitude we have each day for life, liberty, and family values, are something we all identify with regardless of creed, socioeconomic status,or religion. The music, while folkish/country rock/blues in nature, feels wonderfully undefined in a way that can appeal to a large cross section of society. It is impossible to over play the CD, as the variety of subjects and tempo keep it fresh and attractive. I found the more I played the CD the more I loved it. Frankly, it's just great music!
