Album Notes

L-Love is a rapper from East Contra Costa, California. He was only the 3rd rapper to appear from this area, the only rappers before him were Chill E.B. and Wizzayne.

L-Love's style of rap is like a blend of the Oakland Phunk that Too $hort created and the Vallejo G.A.M.E that Mac Dre created.

L-Love has put together an album that if it was on a major label, would have gone PLATINUM. This masterpiece is that good.

Damn mayne this record is spittin fire! I like the realness of "My Way of Life" and "If You Don't Love Me". "Mr. Mailman" is a definite radio hit that tells us about the struggles of the independent game. Rappers Damien and Pola Bear really shine on this album reppin it hard for East Contra Costa county. L-Love even comes with a Mac Dre tribute, which was published before Mac Dre's death. Real Mac Dre fans need to hear this song. L-Love gave real props to real artists long before it became the popular thing to do. This album has been a consistant seller in Bay Area stores and continues to inspire independent rappers today. - Mac Jeff - , www.macjeff.net , www.myspace.com/macjeff
