Eclectic, Bohemian, sometimes Edgy, sometimes Soft...sometimes Extraterrestial. "Out of Chaos...the Sublime..." has a sampling of Lloyd's creations and is part of an ongoing project. It is interesting to listen to this CD and then to "Etherial Dissonance"

"Spanning 25 years, the 14 songs on this CD comprise an eclectic mix of styles and types of music. Created as Lloyd progressed through developing his guitar ability, these songs range from "ethereal" soundscapes to "down and dirty" blues, with a few love songs thrown in for spice and even some tracks processed from 4-track portastudio masters c.1986, some of which will be newly recorded later in 2005. There is even an original, traditional Christmas song! Lloyd's next project is a mostly original blues album, due for release in the fall of 2004." - Betty at Mantra's
"Eclectic, Bohemian, sometimes Edgy, sometimes Soft... sometimes... Extraterrestial. Always Music. "Out of Chaos...the Sublime..." has a sampling of Lloyd's creations and is part of an ongoing project. In the works are a blues compilation, "The Blues Event Horizon", mostly original but including a few interpretations of some classics, like Dawg, and Spanish Blues, and Mississippi Delta Mud on My Boots Breakdown Blues now due to be released in the Spring of 2006. Soon to follow will be a few conceptual works starting with a trilogy. "Instrumental Asylum", "Experimental Asylum" and the re-release of the first episode of the trilogy, "XT - Digital Crickets: The Soundtrack to the Movie in Your Mind". (His website is: SummerRain.us) Lloyd welcomes comments and critiques and appreciates input from his listeners. Personally, this reviewer has "input" his opinion that "Experimental Asylum" should be next but Lloyd is set solidly on getting the blues album assembled. So be it, no matter what he does, it will certainly be refreshing and unique."

Update from SummerRain Productions!
"The Blues Event Horizon" project was delayed or postponed depending on who you talk to around here, due to:
A new CD has been released and is now available on CD Baby. "Etherial Dissonance" is a compilation of three separate projects that just seemed to converge, collide, coagulate and amalgamate into something rather wild and crazy. And, now made manifest, as Mr. McSpades predicted back in 2003, this music is indeed "refreshing and unique." And you can find it here:

I really like the mix of songs on this CD. They are original and the music is good. The songs are from fun to
serious and the guitar playing is excellent.

Variation of sounds
author: Brandie M.
I have to start by saying this is not the type of music I normally listen to but I enjoyed it. The sounds are very interresting and like nothing I'd listened to before. The most interresting thing about the CD is that each and every song is different. Each song has a personality of it's own.
