Cool Collection of Ring Tones
author: William and the RadioIndy.com Reviewer Team
"Ring Tone Nation" by Lloyd Page is a collection of 98 eclectic electronic ringtones. Suffice to say, you get a lot to choose from here. The sound is ethereal and ringy (in a chime-like sense). If you are looking for some "out there," spacy sounds for your phone, you have reached your destination with this album. Although a common sound is shared, each track is distinct. Lloyd also makes an effort to cater to what level of "ring awareness" you want your phone to have in his arrangements, meaning there are subtle rings as well as attention getting rings. We liked "Larvel Accel," a twisty rise and fall synth guitar creation. "Chimed RT" is a delay fused chime piece. "Lioz" is a delightfully confused airy guitar synth alarm. If you are looking for some cool ringtones, pick this up.

something for everyone

There is quite a variety here to choose from. Really something for everyone. I liked the ringtone on his "Elemental Asylum" CD called "Beautiful" and there are several on here that have the same appeal. Some of the others are kinda "out there". The one with the frogs is pretty funny and "LarvelAccel" is certainly different. I also like how he includes all the tracks as mp3's in a folder you can access on your PC as well as some of the extras like the videos. I think getting 98 ringtones plus extras for 20 bucks is a great value and my boyfriend showed me how to copy them from my PC to my phone so I can use any of them. Really cool!

Larvel Accel

All of these are pretty cool but I REALLY like Larvel Accel. I'm really into GTA (and NASCAR, too!) and I can't wait for some of my buds to hear it when my phone rings. I like that these are all on a CD with mp3's that I can load to my phone, too.
