Just short of signing a record contract, having a nationally known name and millions of groupies, Little McKay Creek has been a success every where they have performed. They have performed in every atmosphere imaginable, from your small honky tonk bars to weddings, rodeos to dogsled races, night clubs to fairs, mainstream concerts to fund raisers and Elks Clubs to frat houses.
Little McKay Creek has shared a stage with acts such as Brad Paisley, Emerson Drive, Kevin Sharp and the Gourds. They have done numerous fund raisers for the National Cancer Society in and around their home town of Pendleton Oregon as well as fund raisers for individuals battling personal setbacks. They perform annually for shows such as, the Pendleton Round Up and Happy Canyon Night Show, the Eugene Rodeo, the Helix Rodeo, Chief Joseph Days, Halfway Crab Feed, and numerous other events.
The band members consist of: Scott Wilson from Pendleton, OR(Lead Vocals and Rhythm Guitar), Jerad Mitchell from Athena, OR(Drums), Nathane Fuller from Pendleton, OR(Bass Guitar and Vocals) and Josh Smith from Helix, OR(Lead Guitar, Mandolin, and Vocals). They have been influenced by artists such as Chris LeDoux, Alabama, Neil Young, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Reckless Kelly, Cross Canadian Ragweed, Mike McClure and Red Dirt Music all around the board.
Little McKay Creek became a band in 2002 and perform about 65 shows a year. They travel any where and every where they can find a stage. The band is trying to make their music a success, and their full time career. They have accomplished many goals with help from the people who love them most: their family, friends and fans.
