Album Notes

Loud Music for Soft People was formed in late 2004 by Raymond Stanley. Aiming to blur the lines between the electronic and guitar aesthetic and unite them into sounds inspired by shoegaze, ethereal, ambient and dub genres, he would begin with the release of Loud Music for Soft People in August 2005.

During this time he also started collaborating with Jehn Cerron which resulted in the second release Alone In the Vertigo Conundrum in April 2006. With Jehn's otherworldly voice and other musical contributions, this release added a new dimension of melancholy and experimentation.

On this release - Loud Music for Soft People is:
Raymond Stanley, Jehn Cerron (tracks 2,4-10)
Art and CD cover - Stephanie Musser.

such comparison to groups like the cocteau twins and dead can dance is expected as loud music for soft people convey the same, ethereal sound and with early cocteau twins albums featuring elizabeth frazer on vocals, the likeness with jehn cerron's vocal treatments results in such inevitable comparisons. still as a single body of work, alone in the vertigo conundrum, conjures up the best of early 4AD label offerings.
