Over the years, an increasing number of wedding receptions began to incorporate Polish traditions regardless of the ethnic background of the families. This is not surprising since such traditions enhance a wedding reception in many ways. In ceremonial fashion, they draw upon the heart-felt emotions the newlyweds, families and friends experience during this special event. The growing popularity of conducting Polish traditions at wedding receptions does present a number of problems:
~ Families not familiar with Polish traditions, but desiring to include them, have limited resources for direction.
~ Not many Maitre’d’s at typical catering halls know how to conduct the ceremonies.
