"Triple Play" featuring Steve Salerno - Guitar and Rob Garcia - Drums, is a project culminating a year and 1/2 of playing as a trio. The minute I met Steve, I knew that this was the guitarist I needed to play with. Rob and I had been playing together in various situations for a number of years and I knew he would be a perfect fit for a really GREAT Trio! Rob and Steve really dedicated themselves to this project, and it shows! I hope you all enjoy it! - Dave

This is an outstanding addition to the classic jazz trio catagory.

This is an outstanding addition to the classic jazz trio catagory. The group uses the open sound of guitar and bass to convey an attention to detail and a respect for space. Lobenstein's bass playing is clean and articulate, bearing thoughtfully-placed notes without losing the flow of the music. Excellent guitar playing and drumming compliment each other, and the contribution of guitarist Salerno's original compliments the four Lobenstein originals. Drummer Rob Garcia moves things along, contributing some excellent solos. All in all this album comes highly recommended.
