Hailing from Ponchatoula, Louisiana, Kayla is a southern girl, who cut her teeth on country music. She’s performed on small stages in local towns to stages in Nashville,TN accumulating a huge fan base. Her dazzling stage appearance and her incredible voice captivates young and old.
Kayla loves her fans. She’s quite humbled and encouraged from the countless followers she's amassed.
Through the power of her voice, she has brought tears to many eyes and joy to many hearts. On August 13, 2005, seventeen-year-old Kayla performed her first solo performance in front of hundreds of people at a talent search in Opry Mills Mall in Nashville, Tennessee. Not only did she gain rave revues from the judges, but she also stole the heart of the crowd. She had recorded her first demo only one day prior to her performance. Jim Allison, producer of her demo was astonished by the power and versatility in the voice of such a young singer, as well as her unique personality. At this point, Kayla was only five short weeks into tuning her voice through the help of a vocal coach. She had just begun to tap into her potential. It was even more amazing to her friends and family as they watched their shy and mild Kayla blossom and take the stage fearlessly and with extreme amounts of confidence. She showed talent that is rare at such a young age.
Kayla has released her debut album titled "Beautiful World" in 2006.
Her first video "Halls of St. Jude" was accepted by GAC and began airing on August 20, 2006 during their segment "Positively GAC", which is Sunday mornings at 8am CST.
Kayla has enjoyed working with many parents and patients of St. Jude Children's hospital and hopes that the song and video has brought awareness to the public regarding St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Kayla is looking forward to her future in music.

LoCicero's Envisions a "Beautiful World"
author: Timothy Yap
Art emulates real life. Never more poignantly portrayed, “Halls of St. Jude,” which had already received leaps of media hype, is a slice of real life drama as LoCicero sings of the hospital’s work with children suffering from cancer. A tear-jerker of a ballad that ought to be this 18-year old's magnum opus. However, there is plenty of honky-tonk and country rock, too. Intro-ed by her girlish giggle, the title track finds affinity with Sheryl Crowe’s “All I Wanna Do,” sharing its bright sunny disposition. While the thumping “She’s Ready for a Revolution” and the Wilkinsons' sound-a-like “Outside the Lines,” find this Louisiana-native more zesty than her hometown’s hot sauce. Slowing down for some contemplative moments, “It Comes to You” and “Paper Heart,” are shafts into LoCicero’s soul as she celebrates in these couplets her spiritual and personal abutments. Though a mostly a self-contained effort, with producer Jim Allison scribing the lion’s share of songs, a surprise is found in the cover of Anne Murray’s CMA Song of the Year, “A Little Good News.” In the light of our current war-torn world, such a penetrating ballad calls for fresh blood. Though LoCicero’s crowded popish delivery leaves more to be desired, it is still refreshing to hear this number 1 smash resuscitated. Nevertheless, the verve and LioCicero’s willingness to embrace songs that speak to our life’s situations make us see the beauty of this world again. -TY
