Born n' raised in the S.F.V in Southern California. Loco Negro discovered his passion for music as a youngster hosting backyard boogies as a local D.J. in and around the S.F.V. Soon after he found himself recording under his alias Young Pikasso, Featuring on many different projects including compilations like " the Latin Formula " Vol 1 with Valley Concept Productions and a solo project entitled " The Hustlerz Child " with production by Ernie G from the group "Proper Dos" and other hot producers. But in 2004 Negro found himself in a bind with the law due to the lifestyle he had been living. Selling drugs brings in fast cash but ask anybody the shit don't last forever. And so after dodging the bullet for so long Negro was sentenced to a prison term of 3 years. Out on parole his long over due debut album entiled " Southern Comfort" Part 1 promises not to disappoint. His unique voice, melodic raps, and heart felt lyirics stand out against the rest. Songs like "One Chance" is a description of the realities and struggles of a Chicano trapped in the ghettos of America. Other songs like " U Know Who It Is" and " Take U Home " relates to anybody with a lo-lo and a good eye for potential candy. His real life experiences and ability to put a Latin twist on his raw West Coast Rap, connects him to the streets. Loco Negro is a new breed of bilingual rappers and his dedication to keep this Latin Hip Hop movement moving shows thru his work.
