Album Notes

This recording is a homegrown product featuring ledgendary musicians from the Bainbridge Island, Washington music scene. The songs are compositions by a member of the generation of souls who left their former lives in the 60’s to travel into the vast unknown taking with them only a backpack, a notebook, and a guitar. In their travels, they met new friends who also traveled with a backpack, a notebook, and a guitar, and exchanged songs, ideas, and adventures. The songs being written today are quite different from the ones written then, these being taken from some of the earlier entries into the the notebook of one of these young wanderers. The musicicans on the recording are those new friends met along the way who became professional musicians. Auspicious circumstances caused this group to recongregate for the recording of these songs.
