A True Songwriter

This collection of songs is deeply personal, and ventures into territory even the most committed songwriter is sometimes unwilling to go. I admire the artist as a person and friend, but also respect his musicianship and artistry, as represented by this very personal collection. His life has been about service, to country, to family, to friends, and this album is emblematic of that endless pursuit.

I have seen many today write about Vietnam and didn't experience it at all! Your songs are not detailed enough for a true feeling of the fear and anguish of the war. I was a crewchief and door gunner in Vietnam,and belong to Heli-Vets and Vietnam Helicopter crew members Association.Over 2500 true vets! I also write poetry and song about the The Helicopter war!As a body bagger(Guy in the rear) What is your combat experience? I hope you are not useing the war to advance your profit!!That would dis-Honor many!
