Album Notes

The Logues are five culchies from Co. Tyrone who play music. To be more exact, their style has been described as 'folk/rock', 'drinking music' and "Songs you sing to pass the time in the drunk tank after a night on the lash" to name a few.

Made up of drums, bass, acoustic guitar, mandolin, banjo, tin whistle and vocals, The Logues have been bringing their folk-rock circus to audiences throughout the north and south of Ireland and parts of the UK since St. Patrick's Day 2006, when they formed for what was supposed to be a one off gig as part of a drunken promise. Since then however, the gig offers just kept coming and last year (2009) alone, they completed no less than 120+ gigs, including spots at various Irish festivals, performances with such bands as The Saw Doctors, The Dublin City Ramblers, Tommy Tiernan and Brendan Grace and they were even invited to be part of the official Pogues aftershow party which was held in Brixton, London at christmas 2009
