Album Notes

Have you ever heard a song that you connected with so much it felt like the artist was singing directly to you? Have you ever had that experience with your own source of creativity – a yearning, a calling deep inside of you to do something you’ve always wanted to do like write, paint, or start a project that you thought was “crazy”?

In Lois Fein’s new CD, STEP INTO THE WATER, she reminds us that even if our lives are hectic and stressful or it seems to be filled with problems, we are always connected to our Source – that clear, still voice inside that urges us “to create” whether it be to make art, start a business, or to do that thing that we always dreamed of doing but put off because we didn’t have “enough time” or “enough talent” or we were concerned what others would think.

Lois Fein’s thought-provoking, inspirational messages can be found throughout her songs especially in “Dialogue With Joan of Arc” and “Step into the Water.” In “Dialogue With Joan of Arc” we are reminded of the value of deepening our connection with the Source. Our relationship is a personal one that needs to be brought to the forefront of our lives versus having it in the background. In “Step into the Water" we are urged to overcome either real or imagined obstacles, and to take that first step towards realizing our dream.

Lois Fein’s CD, STEP INTO THE WATER, is a modern-day call to action that echoes Goethe’s famous words: “Whatever you do, or dream you can, begin it. Boldness has genius and power and magic in it.”

This album is like porn for the ears. I can not get enough of it. Truly inspires me to do great things. Lois Fein should be the next great American sex symbol within the next few years. Her voice is like a swan in the moonlight, seductive yet beautiful. This CD has the potential to be the album of our generation. Something is wrong in this world if it does not go platinum.

Lois Fein's voice is magical. This CD has everything: seductive music, party songs, classical music, dubstep, jazz, rock, and unlimited fun. I am surprised that Ms. Fein is not famous. She definitely deserves to be. Her voice has it all: seduction, sex appeal, and love. Every second of music is a new adventure. Listening to this was like sex for my ears.

By turns witty, introspective and sexy

Lois Fein's lyrics and music on this CD are, by turns, witty, introspective and sexy. I'm trying to divine the musical influences and I can pick out Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Judy Collins from our youth in the 70's and perhaps some Sarah McLachlan and Indigo Girls from the 90's.
