Album Notes

From their world corporate headquarters based in Los Angeles, CA, Johnny O'Neil (bass guitar and vocals), William Betts (vocals), Jonny Hughes (electric guitars) and Chris Schnack (drums), continue to expand upon prior and current conceptualizations of popular musical theorem, eliminating presupposition and speculation while reinforcing the critical reasoning required for prospective fledgling bands to excel and remain viable in the ultra competitive yet diminishing music industry. In January 2005, Lojic released their second full length record "The Manual" (produced in Los Angeles, California by Steve Ewing of The Urge) as a groundbreaking and refreshingly candid guide aimed at musicians searching for an edge when trying to avoid the most common pitfalls that beset inexperienced acts, and everyone who loves great music.

Lojic, The Manual (released January 28th) - Undoubtedly one of the most talented and determined groups to come out of St. Louis, Lojic has put together an excellent follow-up to their self-titled independent album. “The Manual,” titled as such because of the CD leaflet guide for aspiring fledgling bands, is 12 tracks of rock riffs, hip-hop rhymes and reggae grooves fused together in a diversely original style vaguely reminiscent of 311. Produced with the help of Steve Ewing of The Urge, the album contains flowing guitar lines and thumping bass held together by the active pulse of drumming and accentuated with harmonious vocals, spine-chilling screams and added turntable effects. Lojic lulls listeners into submission with tracks such as “In My Mind,” and hits hard with head-bob provoking tunes like “Carnvial Blao.” “The Manual,” which can be sampled and bought through www.cdbaby.com/lojic, is a must have for musicians and music lovers alike who crave a refrain from the mediocrity of mainstream music.
