"These guys came out of no where...and blew my mind!" -Jack Endino (producer: Nirvana, Mudhoney, Soundgarden, Hot Hot Heat)
“The Lonely Forest is four young guys writing songs bleeding with ethics that are unheard of these days...Their songs are an epic mixture of what's to come and what once was in the rock world. ” -Northwestbands.com
The band was inspired to write concept albums after hearing Dark Side of the Moon and Tommy. "As a band we’re influenced by Sunny Day Real Estate, any kind of orchestration, old film scores, and pop-rock bands like Talking Heads, The Beatles and Radiohead” says John Van Deusen, the Lonely forests' keyboardist and lyricist.
