mucho gracias

I figured these guys to be nothing more than a bumpkin's Sunday, but shit, they proved to be much more, in fact, I love the Lonesomes.
Devil's Interval not only sounds cool, it actaully delivers, unlike most songs you hear on the radio. Figure It Out is almost too poppy, but god damn- that's an awesome song.
Jack , a cool name, and even a better song.
KERRY will be elected onTues, and that same optimism can be felt and heard when you spin Circling the Sun, by the Lonesomes.
The best beer isn't always the most known beer. CTS is like a cold non light beer on a Sunday night. Bears win, and the Lonesomes rule!!!!!
For those about to rock, salute the Lonesomes!

Whipped Americana
author: Mappy
Open the blender, toss in some americana, hit whip and enjoy!! Excellent debut album from Portland, IL. This CD superbly turns corners from start to finish. It's a cross country course, NOT a track. There's a big difference. The balance between lyric and music is captivating. Phil shines, and the band keeps it hot. Refreshing! Perfect album to pop in when you get out on the road that you're on.

Great players making great music
author: Tom Krepelka
A great morning CD. You'll play it over and over again. The quality of the playing is excellent. The percussion is particularly inspiring for all the young drummers out there. Pick it up.

cathy tunes with moxie..
author: Jay Gee
The Lonesomes CTS record is an intelligent and infectious ride. I've heard it said that CTS is a summer album, and friend, but I like it on dark days just as well. While listening to these tunes, you'll often catch yourself trying to figure out what musical influences can be traced to this finished product. REM? no doubt, Grateful Dead? yes. Son Volt and Jay Farrar? most definately. Wilco? no. Smashing Pumpkins? maybe. Gram Parsons? lil' bit. It never stops...
The Lonesomes have balls, like young Bubba dog, but they also have plenty of heart. These songs stick in your head, and have this hum-to-yourself quality. I raise my beer to the Lonesomes, and I hope they keep it comin'.
