Album Notes

LONGSHOT has been entertaining crowds all across Canada for over a decade. They have opened for many big acts such as Blue Rodeo, Brad Johnner, Gord Bamford, Chris Cummings, Marty Stewart and Aaron Pritchett, just to name a few. They have headlined many of their own shows and continue to play a variety of functions today. LONGSHOT has always had a deep respect for the roots of all types of music which is clearly evident in their performances. The band’s experience, coupled with enthusiasm, has made this dynamic vocal foursome an extremely versatile group, playing a wide variety of music from all genres.

They have just recently released a new single called "Summer's Reign" off of their upcoming album titled "Road To Redemption." They recorded this album with multi award winning producer Bart McKay. They have had experienced success prior to their recent release having previous singles make radio play on stations all across Canada. This over-whelming success has been encouraging for the band, and has prompted them to record their debut CD that was released on October 3, 2008. LONGSHOT consists of Chad Gusikoski, Garth Howell, Lorry Noble and Craig Swain. They attribute the band’s success to being able to adapt to an ever changing music scene, and finding a balance between having fun doing what they do, while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Their love of good music and good times has created a bond within the band that is reflected in energetic performances each and every time.
