Baba Lon II

by Lon Milo DuQuette

From love to lust, commerce to camaraderie, a tasty musical treat in every track. Storyteller, jester and sage: DuQuette's signature guitar style and high sweet vocals are variously supplemented by electric bass, percussion, brass and strings.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Baba Lon II" is Lon DuQuette's followup to his well received Ninety Three debut collection, "I'm Baba Lon." Picking up where his first album in forty years left off, DuQuette once again plumbs the poignant places in our heads and hearts, paving a sonic path of laughs and sighs - sometimes on the same track!

Internationally celebrated as a prolific author in the field of Western Hermeticism, Lon applies his succinct eloquence to lyrics, melody and mood. The result is a collection that surprises, entertains and is to be thoroughly enjoyed. Friends and lovers, virtues and vices - all is covered herein, occasionally with a wink, always with a deep respect for the listener.

Is it folk music? Maybe, perhaps. It is certainly about, and for, people. Folk, Jazz, Blues, Western - bits and pieces of all have gone into the musical omelette. Have a listen and decide for yourself.
