I have to say it has been quite some time since i last heard some music that just simply floors me. From old Smashing Pumpkins to At The Drive-In, Mars Volta, Braid, its definitely been awhile. Enter Loom. I\'ve owned this cd for about a month now, and all i can say is i am still struggling to catch my breath every time i hear it. Think: the driving, aggressive and unique spirit of At The Drive-In in their prime, mix in some Hot Cross, particularly off the \"Fair Trades\" EP & \"Cryonics\" and finally throw in the delicate and sweeping violin work of Cursive, sprinkle in a good helping of badassnees for good measure and in the end you get the one and only, LOOM. Loom is the future of music in all of it's aspects.  The EP blinds you with it's incredible force, although slightly under-produced, still vigoratingly innovative and captivating to change the mind.  5 stras.
