World Tipped Blue is the debut CD release from the bliss pop band Loomer. The twelve songs on this recording combine lush vocal harmonies over a thick tapestry of guitars and synthesizers. The songs range from haunting and heart-wrenching to soaring and hyperactive. Lynda Mandolyn and Hugh Caley, the primary songwriters, started Loomer in Detroit as a vehicle for exploring the pop side of sonic experimentation, Serge Vladimiroff joined after the group located to San Francisco.
