Renes was born in Haiti, “a country where MUSIC is inside everybody” and he is influenced by many musical styles among them, Kompa, Gospel, Jazz, Funk, RnB, Reggae, Latin Jazz and Afro Cuban music. His idol musicians include bass player Marcus Miller, Yves Abel(from Haiti) and Al Jarreau. He is also a fan of Mario Canonge (piano); Stéphane Huchard and Jean Philipe Fanfant (drums); Beethova Obas (for his singing and guitar comping) and the great Bobby Mc Ferrin, his main source of inspiration for beatboxing.

As a musician myself, I am impressed and would like to applause the broad range of style of your album. The beatboxing is very nicely used. The sound of your voice varies on each track. That's really great. How do you Do that? I am proud of you Soul brother.
