Great Live Album, from a great band
author: Gus Medina
If you have never seen Lord Tracy Live, then this is your chance to experience what many are talking about. This album brings you Lord Tracy at their best. This album is more fun than a barrel of naked monkeys or one armed midgets on roller skates.....From the great vocals of Terry Glaze, the unGodley bass playing from Kinley Barney Wolfe, the bluesy rock guitar of Jimi Rusidoff and Chris Craig pounding on the live drumset, this is a must have in anyones CD collection. Great LIVE album, Great band.

An accurate snapshot of a real rock time!
author: Dallas Metal
The Live CD was recorded at The Basement in Dallas on Friday, December 22, 1989 and is a sterling example of the power these guys had over a live audience and why they were just so much fun to watch and hang out with during the late 80's and early 90's. As an added bonus it was also a part of the ZRock coast-to-coast concert series and was introduced by the metal maniac Mad Max Hammer. This CD contains the entire unedited, uncut, eight minute Barney Bass Solo that will make you understand why Terry always says he's happy just to be on the same stage with the guy. Bass players... this will give you a whole new idea of what's possible. Guitar players... try not to cry. The disc runs the full range of the groups 1989 Deaf Gods of Babylon release on UNI Records and contains an assortment of songs ranging in style from arena power ballads (Chosen Ones, Foolish Love) to speed metal and thrash (Pirahna) to rap (3HC) to straight ahead, in your face rock and roll (Out With the Boys, East Coast Rose, and Submission). Both LIVE and Deaf Gods accurately capture the energy and attitude of the band without the added layers of slick manufactured gloss that made so many of the 80's "hair band" releases sound so formula and predictable. In fact, the LIVE album is anything but predictable and will catch you off guard with humor and excitement as you move your way through it. It's well worth the time!
