Lori started writing music in 1995 after a tough relationship brought her to the guitar and pen as a way to release her pain, anger, and frustration. Her music follows the transformations into self discovery and awareness that she made from that break up and younger self into a feminist with immense love for the Earth and self expression.
Lori has a great concern for the place of women in this society and how they are treated, and she questions the general stereotypes that are given to them. Her music shows a genuine person with an incredible desire to connect with others who want to share in her passion to connect with honesty and wholeness, without the masks and games that are often worn and played in society.
A new album entitled "Genuine & Honest" is in the works. Check her Myspace page and CDBABY for its release in 2009!

Soulful and Passionate

I liked it from the start. Yet, my appreciation tends to grow even more each time I listen to the CD. There is a soulfulness and a true passion that rings clear in Lori's musical message. There is honesty and purity -- and logic -- in her words that most people are afraid to reveal, or to even accept. Refreshing.

Lori's Album spells Love it!

Good Afternoon Lori, I really enjoyed your cd as did the other members in my family infact i will be ordering for some one who listened to the cd and liked it also.What a very sweet voice you have and a powerful message you have to deliver.Also there was some good background going on, great drumming in the final song.I also was very happy with cd baby and how they presented the cd and the great and entertaining follow up. Depth to her music

I received the CD as a gift from a friend. There was depth to her lyrics which drew me in. The music on this CD tends to reintroduce it's meaning over and over. In a world deeply in need of beauty, it is a refreshing experience.
