Album Notes

Frantz Loriot

Begins his music studies on the violin with teachers such as M. Yasuda- Raclot, the brothers A. & C. Pons, N. Dupin, I. Gitlis, Y. Tate, and P. Robault. He studies improvisation with R. Huby, Joelle Leandre, Barre Phillips, David S. Ware and Marc Ducret, and later approaches the viola. Studies Musicology at the University of Paris 8/Saint-Denis, ENM of Creteil (Ecole Nationale de Musique), and Analysis and Theory at the Conservatoire Georges Bizet (Paris).

Tonino Miano

Graduated with maximum honors from the Conservatorio V. Bellini of Caltanissetta (1991). Obtained a degree in Musicology from the University of Bologna with a thesis on J.Cage (1993), and a B.S. in Physics from the City College of New York (2004).
