Known first as a classical pianist, Lori Rosolowsky has emerged as a pop musician whose style has been compared to Billy Joel and whose voice has been compared to Carole King and Carly Simon. On her first CD of original songs, Pass It On, she sings and plays piano on all 11 track s, and is backed by a group of stellar musicians and vocalists. Music industry officials from the Songwriters Resource Network praised her voice, sentiments and
lyrics on this album.
The songs vary from soft rock to jazz to pop to blues to lullabies-this album has something for people of all ages. Lori writes about the joys and conflicts of parenthood, nature, friendship, love, and anti-violence.
Fans often remark that the songs are accessible on the first hearing, but they enjoy listening for the deeper meanings in her songs after multiple hearings.
