Album Notes

Lorna Miller's Little Kids' Jamboree has been a live musical event for ten years plus years. She has presented the program in venues as small as coffeehouses to libraries (statewide) to outdoor festivals. The success of this project led to a grant from Regional Arts and Culture to set up a website and finally with the help of friends and family to record this current CD, "Little Kids Jamboree". Fine musicians do the backing work for Lorna's vocals and guitar, including David Lipkind on harmonica and Ned Folkerth on percussion. Dale Farr did the cover art and Sam Mowry the layout. It was a definitely joyful process because of them. Lorna is a life-time musician whose own children are also working musicians in their own right. The musical thread of the family goes back many generations and enriches all their music today. The hope is that this album will provide some of that richness and fun for kids and their families together and carry it on.
