From her most recent CD release, Run Into The Fire, Lorri expresses her faith through honest conversational lyrics that allow the listener to identify with her emotions and perhaps come to the same conclusion she did: God is always faithful. Refinement is never fun, nor is it easy, but it is necessary.

The title cut, “Run Into the Fire” isn’t about some crazy notion that we’re all going to happily and willingly run into the heat of warfare or opposition - But rather knowing that ONLY GOD is an ALL CONSUMING FIRE, and if we look at the fiery trials that we have to walk through as opportunities for God to burn off all that isn’t necessary or holy, then we can truly have peace in the center of the hot ordeal. ONLY HIS FIRE consumes the fire of the enemy and turns it around for good. You’ve heard the expression “fight fire with fire?” That’s what it is all about. His fire is His passion for us, and that’s the kind of fire we can all run into.

Like most artistic personalities, Lorri finds true joy through many diverse expressions of creativity and is fascinated by the only real GENIUS of creativity - GOD. It is in Him and through Him that we are called to create. Whether this expression is in painting, graphic design, photography, jewelry making, sculpting, poetry, songwriting, singing or dancing - the master of it all is an amazing God of love and splendid artistry. Lorri's mission is to chase after this creator and find out what He is doing and somehow express these things on Earth.. Her desire is that her artistic expressions, no matter what form they take, will be honest and pure and portray the aspects of God that have uniquely been given to her to express.
