Album Notes

Los Creepers have made a name for themselves, and gained a reputation over the years as a hard rocking punk rock band from Los Angeles, with a different sound than youre used to hearing. Alex Alvarez (Guitar), Jorge Rosas (Guitar), Herman Ibarra (Drums), and Alfred Montez (Bass)Comprised a band named Lester in the early 90s. Add lead singer Orlando Lucky Almader, and you have the current lineup for Los Creepers. When the latest wave of the psychobilly scene in Los Angeles kicked back into high gear Los Creepers were right there, as a young punk rock/psychobilly troupe that played every weekend, whether it be in an East Los Angeles backyard, or a dive bar in Hollywood, the sound and scene were being taken places nobody had ever been before. With their mix of surf, punk, metal, country, rockabilly, blues, and just about everything loud under the sun, the sound LC developed was just different. Sharing the stage with acts like Rancid, The Cadillac Tramps, Hellbound Hayride, The Adolsescents, The Germs, Demented Are Go,The Meteors And The Stray CAts. A slew of independently released records under their belt, Los Creepers have the experience of a seasoned band, have earned the first call respect of many promoters, artists, and clubs in Southern California. Their latest release City Streets is a collection of true experiences. The songs are stories about close personal friends, personal experience, and growing up in Los Angeles, North of downtown, and East of the Los Angeles River. Its a world rarely explored, and it can be as dangerous, and beautiful as any place on Earth. Los Creepers regard their city with an ultimate respect, and the songs they write are an ode to the life it lives.
