Album Notes

LOST AREA – Electro meets Emotion

At the end of 2003, Jan Moser and Jan Bertram founded LOST AREA with their goal to produce emotional electronic music with intellectual lyrics. Shortly after that, Ingo Ertel joined the band, and finally LOST AREA’s lineup got completed by Daniela Dietz, enchanting the audience with her outrageous vocal talent. In spring 2005 EP “Gabriel” was released, which showed the enormous bandwidth of musical styles the band could cover. Harsh basslines met lush synthpads; the song “Painbringer” became a clubhit. Lost Area has already been playing live-gigs at the famous Dark-Dance Treffen in Lahr (Germany) and as support for wellknown bands such as the Cruxshadows or Cephalgy. The charismatic live performance of Lost Area is supplemented by visuals by the wellknown photographer Annie Bertram (Darkview). After several sampler contributions and remixes for other bands, Lost Area now release their first longplayer named “Dare To Dream”, which perfectly shows the band’s interpretation of “Electro meets Emotion”. Their music covers all, that fans demand of state-of-the-art Electro.
