Lost Iniquity formed in August of 2003 with Brian Gossard (a cousin of Stone Gossard, a founding member of Pearl Jam) and Richard Bodden (vocal major at Howard Community College). The band has a sound, which has been compared to bands such as the Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox Twenty, and The Calling. However, the band still retains its own individual sound; a blend of catchy pop hooks, and finely crafted lyrics.
After a few months time Lost Iniquity appered for a live radio interview/ performance on 103.1 WRNR (Annapolis) in October of 2003. Since then Lost Iniquity has performed at venues in Bowie, Columbia, Laurel, and College Park. Then in January of 2004 wrapped up recording their independently released album Dorm Room Fugitive.

Incredible CD- Hard to Believe it is a Freshman Effort
author: Keith Zaffino
Electrically driven acoustic rock is alive and well as this album proves!!! I have had this CD for about 4 weeks now and it is by far one of the best I have ever heard. I honestly, cannot stop playing it. The way the music melds around the vocals combined with the crafty & intelligent songwriting ( both musically & lyrically ), make this a sure fire winner. It eludes me how these guys can be un-signed still. But that shouldn't last too much longer, as they continue to perform live and record more-they are sure to land that elusive major lable deal!!! When the first note on the first track rings out, you will immediately begin to make comparisons to the GOO GOO Dolls or Train. But less than 1/3 thru the song you will realize, that Lost Iniquity's sound is so much more than merely any resemblence to the aforementioned artists. And yet, it is simply great solid music!!! This CD will knock your socks off and get you psyched up for their next release.
