Album Notes

This is a collection of songs that have been in the works on and off for about 4 years. All of the lyrics have come out of real life experience and are extremely close at heart. They go through times in life where relationships sucked and also where they were occasionally good.

A few of the songs are about my wife and about how much I love her. There have been difficult times, of being apart, in our lives together and these songs tell the story. You really have no idea what is going on in your life or how much you really love until you are confronted with difficult situations. Pushing through, being sure of the future because it is what we make it.

There is a side we find ourselves in quite commonly. One where we give our hearts out and they are crushed with no regard. A lot of times we are just living in a make-believe pacified state with shallow loves, sugar ideals, and things that rarely hold our hearts for more than a second. The other songs are about these times… a sort of release and closure for painful times in the past… mis-placed love left in the cold.

I know this might seem a little to typical but this where these songs come from... and these songs are the reason for this EP....
