Lost in Liftoff is a modern rock band from Portland, Maine.
Almost a power trio, the band was truly completed when former 6Gig (ultimatum records) frontman Walt Craven joined
forces. The band's sound combines the crunchy guitar power of any Ken Andrews band of choice with the pop fire fury of
a Foo Fighters or Yellowcard.
Lost on Liftoff's first single, "40 Miles" reached Top 5 @ 5 and became a most requested track on WCYY in Portland (Maine) just one week after the single's release. The song stayed #1 most requested for over one month. Their follow up track, "Naked and Wasted" found a strong response also on WCYY later in the year. The band went on to play with artists such as Flyleaf, Morningwood, Sponge, Anberlin and Mindless Self Indulgence before 2006 wrapped up.
Relaesed by Portland, Maine based Labor Day Records; this 4 song Ep is the start of something special for this rock band and all those on board for their launch.
