Album Notes

The stunning new release by The Lost Patrol. A sweeping, cinematic, wide-screen journey that combines ethereal sound scapes with surf-tinged guitar. Perfect for those late night rides across the desert with the top down.
Midnight Matinee also features the compelling and emotionally charged vocals of new vocalist Mollie Israel.
Uniquely original retro-futurism.

Midnight Matinee

Simply a great album, start to finish. A unique blend of musical influences that come together so cohesively. There is great diversity (as always) - yet the trademark TLP (undercurrent) sound is always evident. This (Midnight Matinee) can only happen when you a combination of very talented musicians who are completely committed to their craft. Songwriting this good doesn't come along that often / a must purchase for virtually any music aficionado.

So few bands get better over time, but these guys keep churning out wonderful music. I would even venture to say that they are their own genre. Fantastic! A+++++++

In fact, it has yet to leave my rotation since its first play. A unique collision of surf and city that will not disappoint.
