Lost Souls Volume 1 - Garage and Psychedelic Rock 'n' Roll from Arkansas 1965-1971 is the first release by Psych of the South, an Arkansas based research project dedicated to uncovering the great lost musical gems of Arkansas.
Through interviews with original band members, studio owners, and fans, Psych of the South is bringing new life to the sound of Arkansas' rich musical past with this CD.
Lost Souls Volume 1 is a collection of unreleased and obscure records and master tapes from Arkansas’ hidden past, highlighting regional studios such as Jaggars Recording Studio, Wayne Raney's studio and record pressing plant in Concord, and Joe Lee's Alley Records in Jonesboro, among others.
