THE ART OF WASTING TIME is the debut CD from LOST WEEKEND, the latest incarnation of singer/songwriter/guitarist Scott Roberts and longtime collaborator/drummer Mike Joswick. What does the band (named after their favourite LLOYD COLE song) sound like? Imagine if REM had been influenced more by the BEATLES, BYRDS, & traditional early '60s folk music than by PATTI SMITH, THE VELVET UNDERGROUND, & late '70s punk, OR if MARSHALL CRENSHAW had grown up in the South instead of Detroit, then you will begin to get an idea of the sound of LOST WEEKEND.
