Lost Winter was born in the long, dark and near endless winter of 2012-13 by a bored guitarist living in Northern England. The original idea was a simple one: to release four electro-inspired DIY EPs with the help and support of friends, musicians, artists and designers.
The Summer EP is the second of four planned releases following the Winter EP of 2013. It was written via e-mail correspondence between Richard Westwood, vocalist Charlotte Francis and bass player Richard Flynn before being mixed and mastered by Mark Sturgess at Soundstation Recording Studio, Wakefield, UK.
Summer mixes the styles of The XX, Adele with Mogwai's quieter moments to an emotional and dramatic effect.
