I am a huge fan of the first song on this CD. I found it to be one of the best songs I have listened to in a long time it hits the heart and tells the story. My question is what is LOU DOG? Is he real? Well I think after you listen to this song you don't give a shit if he is or not the question then becomes am I real!
PEACE from the Dirty City,

Lou Dog has obviously led a multi dimensional life style, with many experiences most of us can only hope to live. From the Ramone-esque "Hey There Honey" to the Replacements influenced "Special Ed. and the Surf Jam" Lou's experiences and experiments, if you will, come to life in the CD SLOWLY DRIFTING. His talents seem to be endless, intrumentally speaking. The dark tones of this release emit the trials he has experienced, while growing up in the inner city, and all that it has to offer, or take away...This hard eged effort has much to offer, but you have to listen and hear the words, not just the combination of sound and lyric. A must for any Christmas list!

When will the next one be out? I'm on the edge of my seat. This CD shows how multi-dimensional Lou Dog really is. The songs on the CD seem to reach out to you as you listen. I think you can relate many of the songs to your own life, and get a little insight into the mystery of Lou Dog. My favorite song is Hey There Honey, just because of the rocking drums. And Feelin Fine is another favorite. Lou Dog writes some wonderful lyrics that seem to reach out and pull you in to the music, as any cd worth it's weight should. BUY IT, it's worth it.
