Album Notes

This is the collection of the final pieces that Louis was writing while he was still in the US Army. The darker mood of these pieces may not sit well or fit on a new album from him, but they tend to reflect the places his sanity went on vacation to. So far, his sanity has visited more states than there are present in the Union. The journeys he undertakes in his mind are hardly drug-induced; rather they are comprised of a litany of experiences - both real and imagined. However, to the mind, how real is something imagined? Is it as real as a memory of something real?

Sometimes when people look at the night sky, they see the constellations of heroes past, present or entirely confined in their own mind. They and others invest good hopes and dreams on falling stars. Where others see the promise of a better and brighter future, Louis sometimes instead sees something vastly different. Especially during the time when he began writing "Constellation Cockroach." If you're sleep deprived and look at Scorpio for too long... things like this EP happen. Unfortunately for you, it only took a couple of years for Louis to become comfortable sharing this particular musical journey with you.
