Album Notes

here's a little info about the tracks on this album..
1. "when you're feeling blue".. uptempo.. fun.. 50's style tune.. you'll hear a little elvis.. buddy holly.. and other
surprises in Louis's voice!!
2. "i've had enough".. upbeat.. early beatles/ credence clearwater feel.. great george harrison style guitar
riff in chorus.
3. "i'm thinking of you".. another upbeat fun song.. bill haley/chuck berry style rhythm guitars!!
4. "once we start to rock".. nice backbeat drums.. ala early ringo starr.. sneaky bass and nice chuck
berry/george harrison style lead guitar.. this song was written on the spot and recorded in one take..
rock n roll the way it's supposed to be!!
5. " i see thru you".. this song gets a little bit heavier and introduces the first offbeat on the album..
beautiful vocal harmonies and heavy guitar riffs abound!! words bite thruout!!
6. "something divine".. beautiful.. 1950's style song.. nice phase shifting effect on guitar gives
the song an otherworldy effect.. beautiful 1950's style backing vocal solo towards the end.
7. "dream lover".. this song takes the album in a totally different direction as it is predominately
synth. oriented.. nice r n b vocals climax with the lead guitar dueling it out with the synth.
solo towards the end of the song. lead guitar weaves around the synth with some really cool panning!! nice herman munster style keyboards between verse and chorus..
8. "i need some loving".. another upbeat style rocker that's elvis presley all the way!!
both the lead and backing vocals conjure up an elvis who not only
sings lead, but also sits in with the jordanaires on backing vocals!! this song rocks!!
