Dateline 1997. Mexico City. The Lounge King, a retired secret agent, compared with Double O agents, embarks on a radio concept that mirrors his lifestyle of luxury and pleasure. With the help of his trusted butler Dimas, a group of intelligent and beautiful femme-fatales, and a number of artists from various disciplines the International Lounge Network (ILN) was born.

After the premiere of The Lounge King Radio show in 1997 (known in Mexico as "El Muñecon") the concept was successfully exported to Montreal Canada(Mix96) in 2002. It has now traveled around the world to Switzerland,
Germany, Greece, Italy, Russia, USA and many other countries.

The Lounge concept has been trivialized over and over again with thousands of cheap compilations on the market. The Lounge King radio show, as well as this CD, has always had one main objective: Musical Seduction at it's finest.

Fast forward to 2007. This CD is the result of many years of work. While traveling with Superagent 69 (one of The Lounge King's key operatives) and Dimas (his loyal butler) he encountered many independent artists that would become the basis for this exquisite compilation of music, including: SENOR COCONUT (Germany/Chile), BEBEL GILBERTO (Brasil), THIEVERY CORPORATION (USA), MONTEFIORY COCKTAIL (Italy), MONSIEUR MAX (Quebec), LYCZACZA (Poland), FUNK SERVICE INTERNATIONAL (Sweden), MESSER FUR FRAU MULLER (Russia), and LAZY (discovered on CDBaby).

And for the crème de la crème of musical seduction, this album includes a very special 21st Century Space Age jewel... BR CLEVE Remixing the ESQUIVEL song "Pecado Mortal", which The Lounge King describes as the perfect song
for a Bond movie ... in Spanish!

As a bonus, this CD edition contains a variety of mini-sound-clips between songs that add that special flavor, a certain Je Ne Sais Quoi to the album.
