Lounge Theory is k-lee and Jesse Stern. Stern and Lee started writing songs together in January of 2008, and the vibe was instant and easy. During 2008 they met in Stern's studio once a week, taking only a few brief pauses for a world tour, two financial setbacks, three deaths in the family, and many "issues". It was this determination to create, even as life went on around them, that allowed this album to reach the light of day.
Lounge Theory Vol. 1
All songs written and performed by Jesse Stern & Kimberly Lee, except "I Believe", written by Roland Orzabal.
For that old-school feeling, listen to the first half, side A, tracks 1-5. Pause your iPod or music player, then listen to the second half, side B, tracks 6-10.
Jesse Stern (www.jessestern.com) is a producer and musician who has been fortunate to work with such artists as Sly Stone, Hanson, Weezer, Airto, Ricardo Lemvo, and many others.
k-lee writes and performs music in LA and beyond. Her effortless vocal and lyric style can be heard on several up-and-coming artists' albums and myspace pages.
