Album Notes

Leif Thorner is one of the members of the band Loveflowers. He started his music career at early age. At this time, his brother made his own bassguitar at school and when Leif saw this piece of ”art”, a growing feeling started inside towards his interest of music.
Since then he had played with numerous constellations of bands and whichs involves lots of different styles as rock, blues, jazz, funk etc. At the age of seventeen he was asked to enjoy ”The Shakers”. He was in and stayed for about two years, playing the bass guitar.
A coverband called ”Hip Cats” was another band he enjoyed to play, but he moved to Vastervik and had to quit because of the distance to his old town. He met new musicians and he was therefore into new constellations of bands.

Michael Greiffe is the other member of the band. He has been playing drums and percussion since he was twelve. Most of the time, the bands he was into played their own music and they made a lot of demos, trying to get attention at the local music scene. He has also played a lot of covers in several bands. But it doesnt had all that Michael was looking for.
It wasnt until the band called Julia, a record deal was signed and the wheels started to move. He was now into a band that really was getting serious about the music. Julia did a lot of gigs and were seen on national tv, radio and other venues. They had an audience who were faithful and felt strong about their music.
About one year after the release of their album ”Salvatore”, the members of Julia decided to go their own mysterious ways.

Michael and Leif are the producers of the album "Loveflowers".

Yvonne is the third member of Loveflowers. She wrote a lot of poems under a couple of years. She wrote them when she was in different modes and the lyrics was about life generally, but the main part in according to things she had gone trough in life.
The lyrics is very emotional and personal.
