Hello. Many stumbling blocks and swollen hearts crossed our paths before finding our songs within them and finding each other. We put neurotic amounts of time and energy into making our music a representation of who we are and where we are. And how thankful we are to our friends and loved ones for not shunning us away for never being around. We work speedily at our nonmusical jobs so that we can have more time to work on our musical futures. On days when the sun is sparkling, on days when the hazy San Francisco fog hits us, on days when wed like to enjoy a slice of pizza and mindlessly hang out, we'd still rather be playing music.
We dwell on our past mistakes and are always hopeful of new and exciting things. We love those bittersweet moments that are hard to describe, we hate too much complicated concept without any tangible substance. We cherish our salty sweet dreams. Things you may not be able to read right away in our music but that you can truly feel and shake your head to, violently maybe, softly maybe.
And maybe you see the vision as we do, maybe you see something entirely different. In the end, all we reall want is to share with you what we do, entertain you, enlighten you, and change the course of your day.

Fantastic

I don't know how I stumbled across this gem of a band, but I'm just blown away by how excellent their music is. It's strong, compelling, consistent and beautiful. Their other EP (also available on CD Baby, but not as an MP3 album) is equally good.
Amazingly, this band is as yet unsigned, so please support them by buying (rather than stealing) this CD -- give them the resources to keep performing and creating this stuff!

so i made that great voyage from the pretension of silverlake to the creative haven of northern california on a last minute decision to see spindrift and dead meadow play the Noise Pop festival. it was one of those rarities where i actually showed up early enough to catch the first band and SO glad i did. lovelikefire is amazing. this band won me and everyone else in the room over with their great songs. do yourself a favor and buy this disc. or better yet, see them live and pick up this and their new disc that has four more great songs :)
