"Swimming in the Sahara", the new instrumental CD from LoveShack, is the perfect backdrop for that dinner party you've got planned with six of your best friends. Fascinating conversations tend to occur when there's tranquil, musical support. Think of "Swimming in the Sahara" as a state-of-the-art, conversational-flotation-device.
It's also just the right compliment for those blissful stolen moments when your body's draped over a white wicker couch on the sun-porch, watching the last vestiges of sun trickle away behind the horizon from beneath half closed eyelids.
Unparalleled in a car, on a plane, on a boat, on a train; sitting on a rock gazing out over a wide open ocean or sitting at the edge of a baby pool in the middle of your backyard, you'll wonder how you ever did without this melodious travel guide that seems to gently discard the stresses of the day.
"Swimming in the Sahara" does its work delicately but skillfully. The soothing tones of a grand piano and acoustic bass bubble up from beneath airy violins and throaty cellos; the exotic huskiness of pan flute and shaku, flamenco, steel and soft electric guitars, all blending together to serve only the simplicity of each melody. It's a vacation when you need it the most. . .every. . .single. . .day.

I get more work done when I listen
author: Katrina Blair
I put this CD in my computer at work and listen during the day. I get 3 days of work done in a few hours! I might have to stop simply because my boss is going to think I've gone nuts. There's something about this album that makes time feel different.

The CD is soothing
author: Scott Coleman, Ann Arbor, MI
The CD is soothing. I had a really rough day the other day and put it on in the car on the way to work. I had some things that I needed to think about. I had trouble thinking anything but positive thoughts while the CD was on.

It destressed my day, what else is there to say?
author: Mike
I was on my way to work, traffic was thick, I was almost out of gas and I was running late. The LoveShack CD was sitting on the passenger seat next to me unopened since I only got it the day before. I ripped open the package and shoved it in the CD player while I waited in line for gas. This music changed my state of mind from being anxious to feeling very calm. I felt my body relax as I sat there waiting for the guy in front of me to finish pumping his gas. This music is comforting somehow. You weren't kidding when you said the whole album is relaxing, I experienced it first hand. Thank you LoveShack, this CD won't be leaving my car and I got one for the house to!
