death doesn't deserve me
The second full-length release from Love Story’s End, Death Doesn’t Deserve Me, is a slasher-inspired rock album, a winning concept if ever there was one. Melodic and intense, DDDM has a complexity that’s lacking in a lot of other heavy music. It’s more than just a collection of songs – it’s an album that tells a story and rewards you for listening from start to finish.

“And So the Righteous” starts the album off on a graceful note before turning on a dime midway through, unleashing a fierceness that leads into the second track, “Fall to Darkness.” The momentum keeps building through “Virtue Is of the Past” and standout track “Guilt Is a Reigning Future,” a song with a chorus so catchy you’ll be humming it for days at a time. Sinister sing-along “Where Wings Ignite” is a fan favorite at shows, and the closing title track wraps it all up with haunting harmonies.

All in all, Death Doesn’t Deserve Me is a terrific sophomore effort from a band that deserves to be on your radar.
