Album Notes

The Love X Nowhere makes San Francentric music that drops like sparks from the Muni lines on a rainy night. From the space-rock origins of their previous band Muad?Dib, founding members Gabriel and Michael found the sound they were searching for after 2 years rehearsing and performing as an acoustic duo. An evolution of shoegaze and dream rock, a big lush one-sound coming forth from guitars heavy with the sway of chorus and delays, analog synth sounds as though from previous incarnations, and solid grooves that never lead the listener astray. Two vocalists who wind their way through harmony and melody, reminiscent of a bridge between Pink Floyd and Slowdive. Quasi-pychedelia like a meandering walk from the Beatles to Helio Sequence or Blonde Redhead. The Love X Nowhere. Having nothing in common with terminological inexactitude or planned obsolescence.

powerful, sexy and unabashedly fruity

powerful, sexy and unabashedly fruity - a mouthful of sweet, ripe black fruit, spicy and with creamy vanilla. Let's just say this EP plays at least 3 times over every time I put it on... Love, love, love it.

Great for both foreground or background
