ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Lower Wacker is a Hard/Alternative rock band featuring 5 veterans of the Chicago music circuit . Kevin (Kayze) Piedt on vocals, Nick Favia lead guitar, Jesse Citore rhythm guitar, AAron J. on drums and Dusty Raven rounds out the rhythm section on bass. Their cumulative experience puts them in every major venue that Chicago has had to offer from the early 90\'s to the current.

Their music is a melding of three genres of hard rock and metal, and though influences occasionally pop out of the fray, no one has yet been able to qualify them as sounding like any one band besides Lower Wacker. One thing is certain. They have been dubbed the Gun\'s and Roses of 2008 by industry insiders. Though it is uncertain whether this is due to their raw, aggressive and hook laden music, or because of their energetic, no holds barred live show. In either case their crossover appeal to fan bases from 13 year old skater punks to 50 year old hard core bikers is undeniable.

With songs like Thr33 Ring Circus (an ode to workplace ethics) and Sicksortafun, to the \"Southern rockish\" All Pink on the Inside and power ballad Unashamed, they manage to venture into different musical landscapes seamlessly without losing their edge or identity as a band.

Like the Chicago street that is their namesake. They are sometimes dark and forbidding and other times just a \"flat out, pedal to the metal\" good time. Overall a little \"old school\" hard rock mixed with a little modern alternative rock , laid down by accomplished musicians converge to create the asphalt sound of Lower Wacker.
