Album Notes
In a time when hip hop is in desperate need of originality, a refreshing sound can be heard coming from the bay area. The Loyalists are made up of Framework (emcee) and E Train (dj/producer). They have been making music together for over 12 yrs. and continue to bring you back to the roots of hip hop with hard hitting beats and rhymes.

The Loyalists are strong artists who don\'t let today\'s trends shape where they take their music. Clever, rapid fire lyrics are weaved over hard, melodic beats to keep your head nodding while demanding a conscious mind from listeners. Their turntablism background becomes evident with lightning sharp cuts that separate them from some common groups of today. The Loyalists influences come from their love of the early 90\'s hip hop sound. However, they produce an original sound that can\'t be found anywhere else.

The impact of The Loyalists can be felt from their ILL live shows. The classic combination of an emcee and dj playing off each other creates an energetic scene wherever they rock a crowd. They have shared a stage with artists like KRS-One, Jedi Mind Tricks, Wordsworth, Mr. Lif, Akrobatik, Pharcyde, and others. When they come to your town, you won\'t want to miss them.

Check for their new album, “Redemption” featuring Louis Logic, Planet Asia, and The Aztext. The Loyalists are stampeding their way to the top, and whether the world is ready or not, they will be heard.

Do not front on this album!

It's honest. Clear. In your face. Extremely interesting if you listen to lyrics. Framework is on a level all by himself.

4.5 Stars. Amazing album. Everything is solid from the production, scratches, and lyrics. Great guest spots also. Highly recommended.

This is the best album I\'ve found in a long time.

It's good to hear something that speaks for some of us everyday hip hoppers. Intelligent. Unreasonable. Unwilling to be apart what's going on today. Smart writing. A worthy debate. Actually Pushing themselves lyrically to make it clear, you either like or not.

a style of their own
The combination of beats and lyrics on this album are as good as any well known indie artist I've heard today. They've continued to rise above the uncertainty of a major fan base they deserve. Definitely the most passionate work they've released.

Every lyricist is either a player, gangster, hip-pop, or celebrates being WEIRD as possible... it's getting old. The loyalists are capable of bringing intelligent thought back into the forefront of music again.

even better in person
I heard about this group. Bought the album. Yet I just saw them a couple weeks ago in San Francisco and they were the best show I\'ve seen with hip-hop in the area. HAD TO WRITE. They blew away the other acts on the bill. The tracks in person sounded better than the album!!!! All kinds of energy. They stole the crowd. Remixes. You gotta see it believe it. The album needs to heard.

Best hip-hop album of 2008
The writing goes beyond hip-hop. Framework is a poet. Truly a voice of people. Anyone that\'s driven towards visualizing success. Should of called the album, \"INSPIRATION.\"

Its hard to beleive that they could get any better....BUT THEY DID!! I cant WAIT until the next album....HURRY UP HOMIES!! :)
