This album was released in 2006 and contains adult themes. The new EP is in the works and should be released in Mid 2007.
Reeko and Bravo rap to variety of world styles on this album. This experimentation with world vibe was a refreshing experience that pushed them into areas not normally done on a single album. Loyalty and Honor are unlike any other rap group out now. They are risk takers and are not afraid to rap on different music genres. Currently living in South Central Los Angeles, they are never a head-turn away from inspiration of social-reality.
One thing you can expect from Loyalty and Honor is that they will always surprise you. Reeko and Bravo have a long history. Previously known as Sifah during the 90s, they concentrated on shows and street rapping. Putting trust in DJ/producer in the late 90s, they literally lost years of missed releases. This is reflected in a verse Reeko says on the track "All About The Hustle." They were also shelved for a year when a mismanaged production company locked them down.
In 2003, they were guest rappers on a track called "El Danzon" from Pueblo Cafe (Musart-Balboa Records) which happened to be produced by their current producer, J-vibe.
Their first album, World Coast is produced and composed by J-vibe from Dragon Mob Records. The tracks include Hip-Hop stylized Latino, Southern Rap, 70s Gruperos, Reggaeton, Punjabi, Dark Rap/Rock and Booty shakers. Combining live musicians such as world vocalist, bass, piano, flutes, guitars, sax, clarinets and percussion makes Loyalty & Honor's this album "World Coast Hip-Hop." 100% original composed tracks Special guests include: Cheryl Cooley of Klymaxx, Judy Lebron, Antonio Campos, Citric from Pueblo Cafe, Rob Trae, Young Money , Boo (Indian singer), Hsky on flute (CEO of Dragon Mob and Abstract Painter), Zuma Arechiga on Bass and Smax behind the scenes.
J-vibe is a master composer and producer. Even though he has played keyboards since 5th grade, he hates doing covers. He is all about composing. His has composed music for Rap, Trance, House, Disco, Spanish Rock, Cumbia, Banda, Ranchera, Tropical, Soundtracks, Ambient, Classical and Choral. Also, being a computer software creator for over 20 years, a graphic artist for 15 and a mechanical genius reflects in every sound he creates. He's been very quite for years, but that's about to change.
If you are not afraid to hear a mix of different tracks, are not set in a one-path mind, feel a full arrangement of music, hip-hop beats, rapping and taking a audible trip from A to Z, then this is for you.
The album contains a different mix version of "Como Las Noticias" which was featured in the Cuba Gooding Jr movie "Dirty" about corrupt cops.
